Hive has helped its 1,600-plus venue, promoter and festival clients to sell more than $1bn of tickets using its event-marketing platform. Now it’s raised some money of its own to continue growing.
The company has raised $27m in a Series B funding round from investment firm Frontier Growth. What’s it going to use the money for? No surprises for guessing, in 2026, that AI will figure highly.
“AI-powered assistants that go beyond simplifying manual workflows by providing tools that empower busy event teams to get work done faster,” is what’s on the roadmap according to Hive’s funding announcement.
“Planned investments will focus on simplifying branded campaign preparation, reducing repetitive tasks and helping teams act on data insights to drive ticket sales, while keeping organisers in control of their voice and fan relationships.”
The news comes a month after Fever, the live-entertainment and ticketing firm that also works with venues and promoters, raised $250m in its latest funding round. The sense of investors’ renewed interest in live entertainment – and particularly the tech that supports its growth – is palpable.
